La Chapelle d'Abondance opens onto one of the largest ski areas in Europe. The slopes stretch for kilometres between France and Switzerland, between pine forests and snow-capped peaks.

The Portes du Soleil connect 12 resorts on both sides of the border — the unique possibility of skiing from one country to another without ever removing your skis. La Chapelle offers direct access via Crêt-Béni for families and Braitaz for sports enthusiasts.
